Mavique was born in 1950 in Lima, Peru and is well regarded around the world.
He studied at the School of Arts in Lima and the Atelier Gonzalo Ruggieri. His exhibitions
include the Galeria de Barranco, Hotel Miraflores, and Galeria LLaque. Mavique has been
awarded with great distinctions throughout his career, including First Prize in the National
Watercolor Contest, Honorable mention in the Don Jose de San Martin Contest and Honorable
Mention in the Maestro de Maestros Contest in La Paz, Bolivia.
